Custom Artwork for The Cigar Lover

George and I met in 1997. He owned a restaurant in Long Beach called Christy's. We met there and then ran into each other at the lounge called Cohiba's. We would smoke cigars, drink whisky or wine and shoot pool. We became friends shortly thereafter. We would meet there almost every Friday. The owner would allow us to bring our own wine since the selection there was not great! I would always bring a good bottle of California Cabernet or something from Bordeaux. Later George opened Nico's restaurant. At the time I lived in Long Beach and we spent more time at Nico's than the lounge. Recently we were discussing my art and he commissioned me to do his portrait. To date it is the only portrait I have done, I am sure there will be more? Enjoy!
